After a series of rigorous selections since last October, SING had the pleasure, on Monday 4 March, of integrating into its incubator the first 7 digital start-ups to follow the Cohorte Innovation acceleration program. These project leaders will be followed by our experts for 3 months and will then be able to benefit from an innovative financing offer.
Gabon's first 100% digital incubator, Pivot 4.0 by SING, hosts its first startups following a call for applications launched in October 2018. Initially, 55 startups applied for the acceleration program. The selection criteria concern the project's growth potential, but also the significant use of digital technology.
The first startups selected operate in various sectors of activity, ranging from energy to insurance, including e-marketing, e-commerce, e-finance and e-education. During this integration day, they had the opportunity to get familiar with Acceleration Agenda's tools and have already started a practical session in their new workplace.
It lasts 3 months, during which time the startups benefit from an intensive follow-up including 21 hours of practical training, 50 hours of mentoring and 200 hours of project implementation support. The objective for these incubated startups is to structure themselves efficiently and reach out to customers with solid and relevant offerings.
Throughout this acceleration program, our experts provide project leaders with the keys to optimize their finances and sales techniques. A weekly evaluation allows us to adjust the program's contributions for each startup in a personalized way.
From June, the most deserving companies will be able to apply for a financing offer covering their operating expenses over 1 to 2 years.
